La Metairie - Chaumont-sur-Loire

We did not come across the incredibly rude, uncempt and surly ignoramus, who greeted us when we came in. whether the owner, the chef, the purer or just a few penners who were on the road, we had no warning. we did not stay around. long enough to find out. the subsequent queries with the locals would however suggest that he is own and is known for his unmistakable. as he stays in business, is one of the great asking in chaumont.

This is a square corner to the entrance of the chateau du chaumont. we were tired to walk around and wanted to eat something loose and fast. I saw a sign for confit du canard e) and kebab and was sold. we tried the kebab...sandwich, the boulettes and, of course, the familiar. it is not bocuse level, but it was decent (fit and boulette were good, the kebab was just ok). the last time I checked, bocuse does not offer a menu (salad plat dessert caf for less than e (like metairie did). they also have an outside area in the restaurant. the use we had was nice and the owner was all business (but didn't seem rude to me).

Bien situé. La nourriture était bonne. Par contre, la propreté laisse un peu à désirer et peut refroidir un peu le touriste de passage...

Avec de belles assiettes reprenant les grands classiques comme le confit de canard, les Kebabs à plusieurs viandes et la mixed grill toutes bien présentées, cet établissement ne désemplit pas.Il vous servent à 22 h quand le bel établissement d' à côté vous refuse à 21 h.Service rapide nikel, petits prix ; Idéal après la montgolfière du soir, avant de repartir d'ou vous êtes venus et souvent de très loin.

Un bon point c'est la seule restauration à accueillir après 13.45. La viande est excellente sans aucun gras. Service un peu long et les prix un peu élevés mais vous repartez en étant rassasié.
