Leitões Come - Chaves

Amazing suckling pig. I love this traditional dish and this was Superb!!!! Going back tonight for my birthday dinner it was that good. Staff were friendly and a modern vibe inside.

We’ve been on a tour of restaurants in Chaves and this one has been the best overall. Friendly, attentive service. Best leitão I’ve had in a long, long time. My mother got the polvo (octopus) and it was also perfection. Can’t wait to come back!

We arrived on spec and we're met by a friendly waiter. We were seated and shown a tablet which had pictures and a description in Portuguese. The waiter had adequate English and helped us. We ordered a platter between 3 but was advised it was too big for 3 people. We went with the waiters recommendation for a starter. We had the traditional piglet with a wine recommended by our waiter again. The food was top class as was the service. I will definitely go back if in the area again.
