Lake House - Cheat Lake

Really good! I honestly don 't know what some other reviews are talking about; the prices are right on the menu with a very few 'market price ' items, but that is pretty common. Also the service was great and very attentive. Good food, nice atmosphere and friendly people. We will definitely be going back when we 're in the area.

Fantastic place for food and drinks and entertainment. Beautiful lake side views, staff friendly and courteous. Took awhile for out food, but when served it was cooked just the way we ordered it. Lauren our server was great dealing with many tables but able to maintain quality service.

Lake House has a really great menu and really friendly staff. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great. I was sat and after about 10 minutes a server saw my wife and I weren’t attended to, ran over and said “No one came to see you so I’ll just swoop in here”. After that our drinks never went empty…by the time we finished a plate we were offered something else… We’ve been before but I have to say this is the best experience I’ve had.

Crowded, so service was slow but we were very disappointed in the food! Very bland, no taste or seasoning. Pricey too.

Great Tuna! Nice place to wait out the rain. It's busy and noisy but that has its place when people are looking for that energy.
