El Jarocho - Checotah

I love this place. Right next to a truck stop. Great service loved eating. Place was very clean. Even she observed cleaning outside the windows before they opened. Will stop again when the load brings me that wat.

Friendly good service, food is good, not big or not bad, prices are very good, the place is clean, hard workers here, funny with no one want, now working days maybe let these people in and let them work, pay taxes, and in 7 years give them citizenship, duck problem solved lol

I was not satisfied with my meal! The food was grilled to perfection, and every bite was a dream come true! However, I gave this restaurant 3 stars due to the service. The waiter didn't even come by to check on me. I had to request additional water twice, which was frustrating. I always like to have something to drink while I eat, and this was the first time I didn’t leave a tip. That said, I still recommend dining in or taking out from this place. I would definitely return!

Food was excellent. Service was great. I'd go back when I lived nearby, but I'm just going through. Will definitely remember to come back if ever again in this way.

I ordered Chili Relleno's. Which were not my favorite I have had, but they were ok. We also ordered a side of guacamole and queso. Both were excellent! We also ordered Medium margaritas on the rocks. They were wonderful. They did rim with something other than margarita salt, but I drank the margaritas with a straw, so it was ok. Having just moved here, I am excited to find a good Mexican Restaurant nearby. My husband enjoyed his Taco al Pastor, but you will have to see his review. He thought they were perfect. Adding to this post. We went back to El Jarocho this past Friday and I had the steak street tacos. While they were pretty good I did end up asking for some Pico de Gallo because I thought they needed a bit more heat. Maybe I just like my food a bit more spicy than most. Not sure.
