Dairy Queen (treat) - Cheektowaga

The ice cream was wonderful, as usual. However, this was my first time trying the food menu. I'm not sure if the food at DQ in general is subpar, or if it's just this particular location, but the grilled chicken sandwich I ordered tasted like it had been microwaved. While it had grill marks, it also had a strange, translucent white color. In summary, stick with the ice cream and skip the food.

Vanilla is my favorite ice cream flavor, and I consider myself a connoisseur of it. Unfortunately, the ice cream cone melted quickly, leaving a mess all over my hands, and the taste was reminiscent of McDonald's—not very impressive. Additionally, the price was $5 for a small cone dipped in chocolate, which I found to be quite steep. I won’t be returning to this place.

The staff is amazing, and of course, the soft serve is the best! I would love to see a bit more variety on the grill menu, like adding burgers, but overall, it's a fantastic place!
