Ted's Hot Dogs - Cheektowaga

Just stopped in after arrival from Daytona Beach, FL. It's been YEARS...but we love our TEDS!!

Food was ehh.. 6/10.Onion rings were soggy and overly battered with flour.Hot dog was alright.Milk shake was good: 7.5/10Ambiance is nice gives you that old school nostalgia vibes.Big parking lot.

Food is generally good across the board, but I think the prices are too high. I know everything has gone up, but still. Every single item you add to an already expensive burger is .99. So, for e.g., if you want a burger with cheese and carmelized onions, be prepared to pay extra for both. Lines are usually long and slow. The Ted’s locations with two grilles never have both open. Not the same as in the past, but I guess COVID and no one wanting to work has put us here.Parking: Plenty of close parking.

My first experience at Ted's Hot Dogs on Transit was definitely interesting. As I walked in, I noticed that the place had a bit of chaos to it. There were customers lining up, everyone trying to place their orders as quickly as possible. It was clear that the grill staff were working hard to keep up with the busy time of day.As I made my way towards the grill, already near the end of the line, the person working the grill asked me what I was having. I was a bit caught off guard, but I didn't want to hold up the line, so I quickly told him my order and moved on.When I finally got to the register, I realized there had been a mixup with my order. Although this was frustrating, the staff were patient and understanding, and quickly fixed the issue.Despite the hectic atmosphere, it was clear that Ted's Hot Dogs on Transit was a popular spot. It's not hard to see why. Their hot dogs are delicious; they're flavorful and pack a real punch. But still, I couldn't help but wonder: why were people lining up for this food when you can easily make hot dogs at home, or simply grab a bite at a baseball game?Don't get me wrong I definitely enjoyed my meal at Ted's Hot Dogs on Transit, and I do appreciate the effort the staff put in to keep everything running smoothly. However, I think I'll only be visiting once in a blue moon. The experience was a bit too chaotic for my liking, but perhaps that's just part of the charm. At the end of the day, it's great to see a local business doing so well and bringing joy to so many customers.

Love Teds!!! Great food fast service, clean. What else can I say? Clean bathrooms.
