This is one of the few classic breakfast spots I found in downtown Chelsea. For around $10, you can enjoy three eggs cooked your way, along with bacon, sausage, hash browns, and some toast points. I think it's a fantastic way to kick off the day.
Curly's restaurant is arguably one of the best small eateries in Chelsea. I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of Salvadoran cuisine in an Irish pub setting. The Three Stooges theme added a charming touch. I ordered the Tipico Montañero and an Horchata, both of which were absolutely divine. The pork cracklings were fried to perfection, the egg was soft in the center, the steak was well-seasoned, and the sweet plantains complemented the meal beautifully. The rice and beans offered a lovely earthy balance, and the lettuce was wonderfully crisp. Beyond the exquisite food, I was particularly impressed by our waitress, Deisy, whose cheerful personality brightened my day. I highly recommend paying a visit to this hidden gem soon!
If you're craving a hearty breakfast, Curly's has delicious Salvadoran food. Typical of the cuisine, you'll get a well-rounded meal that includes eggs, rice, beans, beef, chicharrón, sour cream, avocado, cheese and hand made tortillas! For most people, it's enough for 2 meals.
Small place but really shines on customer service, quality of food, and OMG great portions. When in Chelsea this is a must visit. Cut our portions in half and was filled for lunch and dinner.
