The empalizado here is fantastic, and the midday specials are excellent. The food has always been great at this place—I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. However, today I ordered the sopa de rez, and I was very disappointed. The portion was tiny; it seemed like there were more tears than soup! After removing all the vegetables and meat, there was only half a cup of broth left. I’m really let down by how little soup they served this time.
