But they were kind enough to accept ours, as we were unable to book it online. So if you have a voucher phone the restaurant directly. The decor is so tastefully done. The staff lovely and the afternoon tea was divine. Not huge portions. But each one a different taste. The flavours were All AMAZING.. especially loved the chai tea. Thank you. We will be back.
Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the food at this restaurant because we had a negative experience before even getting the chance to try it. Despite booking in advance with a voucher for an Indian afternoon tea, we were informed only 1.5 hours before our reservation that we could not use the voucher at our booked time of 6pm. The manager was rude and unprofessional, blaming her bad day with her husband for the last-minute notification. She refused to accommodate us and eventually hung up on us. This experience highlighted the poor customer service at this highly rated establishment in Cheltenham. In the end, we chose to dine elsewhere and would not recommend this restaurant based on our interaction with the manager.
Return visit with friends following an amazing lunch in September. We were not disappointed. Warm welcome, superb service in beautiful surroundings. However the main star is the creative and delicious food and drink, amazing. We will return, a real treat place!
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional from beginning to end, with staff who were both professional and friendly. The seven course Experience menu was a delightful surprise each time, truly exceeding our expectations. As non-locals, we are unsure when we will have the opportunity to return, but I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know who lives nearby or is passing through. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
The restaurant has amazing ambiance, top-notch service, and delectable food. We did not intend to dine out, but after hearing about this place we decided to give it a try since we were in the area. Located off the promenade, this restaurant is both elegant and versatile, serving as a lounge for drinks as well as a dining establishment. We ordered three small plates, Indian bread, mushroom, river trout, and the railway lamb curry, all of which were perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavorful. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a nice bottle of Spanish red wine. We were so impressed that we have already made a reservation for a future visit.
