Ok food. Solid simple cooking but overpriced for what it is. Service is poor, mentioned a problem to the wait staff who just ignored it completely. No one bothered asking about our meal. Restaurant was dirty in first sitting with toothpicks and food on floor. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Very, very rude staff. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated this way in my life. I’m not sure if it was a racist thing or what, what a shocking and tragic surprise in the middle of the otherwise beautiful English countryside. It doesn’t matter if your food is good if you treat people so badly. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
We ate lunch at “The Old Butcher” 10-4-23. My wife had the battered fish and chips £22. I had the monk fish, scallop, mussels, shrimp, with potato’s bouillabaisse £34. I do not eat large meals, but I walked away hungry. Both meals were very good. Service was friendly and atmosphere pleasant. They charge a 12.5% service fee. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
