Elephant Lounge Cafe - Cheltenham

The Elefant Lounge Cafe in Sandringham is a favourite of mine and my regular place for my daily caffeine fix. Eric and his staff are always friendly and welcoming and Emma is a wonderful cook. Today I treated myself to lunch and had the most delicious meal of corn fritters with salsa, avocado and rocket served with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream. It looked fabulous as well as tasting great and was a generous size. I definitely recommend this cafe as the best in Sandringham for both food, coffee and service.

My mother and Aunty took me here for breakfast today as they said it's their favourite cafe. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg and a coffee it's was absolutely beautiful, reasonably priced and came out within 10mins of ordering. Excellent staff and service too. Would highly recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch. I'll be back again to try some more on the menu. Yum!

Stopped for a quick lunch. The location is a nice little street side cafe, we were lucky to have a lovely sunny day.The food was amazing ..... didn't expect the generous portions but the taste was certainly memorable!HAVE THE STEAK SANDWICH!!!!Probably won't be back but if we are ever in the area again we will give it another go!!Great cafe!!

Visited this establishment for the first time a few weeks ago on a Sunday. Service was just ok- food adequate at best- noticed 6 front of house staff scratching for things to do- wandering around the front counter looking bored(not a good look) one young bloke sat down with customers to tuck into a very large lunch !! I really don't like it when staff sit down with paying guests- no flexibility with the menu- and most importantly the coffee shop is tired and needs a face lift- paint- new seating etc etc- Its now competing against some sharp competition(finally!!) The owners need to visit cutting edge places in South Melbourne or even try CK in Sandy for a real experience

Sensational !!! The friendly, professional and highly efficient welcoming service is just the starting point on how amazing and truly wonderful The Elefant Lounge Cafe truly is. This juices are fresh and leave the tastebuds screaming with joy. Honestly it's not an easy thing to achieve to do it in the right manner with the flavours that are infused together. The food is heavenly and honestly some of the best I've had in a long long time. I'll be returning here again and again as this is my new favourite hotspot in Melbourne. Well done to the chef, staff and also I have to mention the beautiful decor of the venue.
