Looking around us we could see everyone else also waiting for their meals to come out. Such a pity because the food was actually very good. The garlic naan was light, crispy and just perfect. The only disappointment on the menu was the pistachio kulfi which was bland and tasteless. We would go back but we’d call ahead and make sure they started prepping the food before we arrived.
Experience the rich flavourful cuisine of Indian FEATURED: Burpie Platter (8pcs): samosa, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, seek kebab, melting murgh Fish Hari Mirch Melting murgh masala prawn biryani Garlic cheese naan Papadums Kulfi Chardonnay Pinot grio At Indian Burrp, we had an amazing dining experience with friendly service and flavorful food. We loved the Burrpie platter for its variety of textures and flavors, and the Melting Murgh Masala and Fish Hari Mirch were our delicious mains. The prawn Biryani was also flavorful with the Papadums and garlic cheese naan as a side it was paired perfectly with the curries Lastly, don’t forget to try their Pistachio Kulfi to cleanse your palate For those who can cannot handle spices.. you have the option to choose from mild to extra spicy for most dishes, which is great for controlling the level of heat. But be warned, even the medium spice might be surprisingly hot for some taste buds ..
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Burrp and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. For our entree, we ordered the Burrpie platter and we were blown away by the variety of flavors and textures. Everything was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. For our mains, we ordered the Butter Chicken and Beef Madras curries and they did not disappoint. The Butter Chicken was creamy and rich with just the right amount of spice, while the Beef Madras had a deep, complex flavor that left us wanting more. The beef madras was definitely our fav! Throughout our meal, the staff at Indian Burrp were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Overall, I would highly recommend Indian Burrp to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine and top-notch service. I will definitely be returning soon!
The food was DELICIOUS! Probably one of the best Indian foods I’ve had in Melbourne so far. They have great atmosphere and decor. The customer service was great. Highly recommended!!
This restaurant was advertised to me through social media and I was keen to visit on my son’s birthday which I did however we were disappointed the food was good and the staff were friendly but we reached this restaurant at 7:45 got our starters an hour later then we got our mains an hour after finishing the starters. At the end of it all we ended up leaving this restaurant at 10:30 pm. This restaurant was definitely not at all busy probably 2 more groups at best and yet the service being that slow was a shame. I understand that due to Covid staffing is short and all but this was too long. I’ll have to say props to the waitresses and chefs they made good food and were friendly towards us. I would be hesitant at the moment to return to this place if something were to positively impact the waiting times in the future I would visit again.
