Win Ho Chinese Restaurant Byo

Great range of Chinese food,been in business for decades and the standard has not changed. In the early days the owner was even known to offer you a port after your meal!!

What makes this restaurant nice isn't just the food, but also the owners. They go out of their way to make you feel special & like you're part of their family.The prawn toast here was a highlight and also the fried rice :) will be back for sure.

Gosh... seriously... i live locally and have been before and only had chicken dishes which were ok, tonight I had crab sticks and peaking pork. Wow... I've added a picture of the bones and gristle and fat from the pork dish, I had literally 1 piece of pork in a whole $17 container!!!... the rest was bones and gristle totally inedible, the quality of meat must be the lowest possible level and this is not an exaggeration!!... the crab sticks were bland and didn't taste like anything but at least I could eat them, steamed rice is the best dish at this place.Unfortunately this is my local and I will 100% not be going again...

We go to Wing Ho every couple of months. Cheap, cheerful, noisy, almost always crowded. The roast duck is superb. The owner is a real character who often gives out little gifts and loves his electronic fireworks machine. Good for an amusing night out.

If ever a place deserved a BIG FAT ZERO - Win Ho would take the cake !!!Please I advise you try anywhere else in Sandringham, even try the 2.0 fish and chip shop a few doors up from this place, isn't as bad !!!The Combination Chow Mein, Special Fried Rice, Win Ho Dims ( Fried or Steamed ) and Beef with Black Bean Sauce, if I had a blind fold test of what was what, I can honestly say I wouldn't know what they were as I've never experienced such bland tasteless food in all my life of having Chinese food.I mean how can they screw it up so badly ?!Your curried combination soup is curry lukewarm water and well your banana fritter, did someone sit on it before it was put in the container ? I could walk in and be the chef of the place and show them how to cook as I honestly do not make bland horrible Chinese food like that, which was the worse I've had the displeasure of experiencing ever.Avoid at all costs here.Also what's up with the delivery service ? I live a 6 minute walk away and yes it was raining so that's why I paid for the delivery, but come on over 2 hours ? What's up with the shocking service ???No excuses in the world for that as it's inexcusable and that food was cold ? What's up with that too ?!?!The $72.80 I paid I wish I donated it to charity as I certainly wasted here.Once again I advise you if you don't want to be left highly disappointed, please try elsewhere.
