Xanny's - Cheney

The Mother's Day brunch was fantastic! Halie mastered the omelette station this year and made some amazing omelettes. She really stepped up to take over for Oma.

Bunker is the top spot in Williams Lake. While there is only one other restaurant in town, Xanny's (still known as Bunkers by locals) is clearly the preferred choice. The other option is a bit overpriced and pretentious. The food at Bunkers is delicious and the staff is warm and welcoming. It feels like walking into a friend's house rather than a commercial establishment. Be sure to call ahead to check if Xanny's is open, as the hours can be inconsistent. It would be great if Xanny's kept regular hours and stayed open year-round.

Bunker's Resort is a seasonal restaurant located in a remote area, making it a long journey for city dwellers. Despite its simplicity, the restaurant offers hearty and unpredictable American cuisine with a medium-western twist. The beautiful open-air dining area provides stunning views of the bluffs overlooking Williams Lake. While the ambiance is minimal, it doesn't detract from the overall dining experience. The restaurant has a longstanding reputation for its great food and friendly service, making it a popular choice for those seeking a true country dining experience.
