Came to this pretty extinguished lounge in the hotel to grab a couple of beers. Love the old look of it. The furniture and set-up are so aristocratic that so clearly resembles the yesteryears! The staff are gentle, warm and extremely hospitable! Thanks to the years of experience they have put in! This quiet Lounge is a perfect getaway from Chennai's humdrum. Perfect place to down that chilled beer. Mind you! This is a rather lustreless place without the glamour and olfactory in the air! If you are in the mood for a quiet place to talk business or enjoy a private date then this is the perfect place. The finger foods are good. The traditional items like vazhu are made so well here. I liked this place for a change. Go for it!
By far the best place I was. the employees are courteous and in any possible way to accommodate them. I never tried to visit this place again and again. I thank the crew.
The right place to meet my friends for a relaxed evening. the lounge area is quiet (the main features live music). welcome relief in comparison to the other loud bars. the drink they can offer is good, but this day they had no ballantines. will definitely be back to visit.
The one thing that strikes this bar is that they can't find any more places. it is old-fashioned and brings it back to the good ol days when as bars were actually. it does not sway with it from colourful or attractive wall papers, but works on the old world charm that is so missed nowadays. the decor wears a very woody feeling. the seats are covered and the seat of jateryear is inherently visible. the environment is stacked with antiques and the lighting is dim with the bar in the middle served all kinds of things from scotch to be vodka, around, gin and what not. if they 're a person of past, nostalgia will certainly meet them with feeling good memories. only that it is not as advanced as the other Neuling pubs have added credibility, and it is nice to see that they have remained in tradition. the name durrants is named after 'charles durrant' madras presidentship's first weineller. before our dinner we thought we had a few drinks and appetizers. they have all kinds of fleet available, including imported. the best bet, however, is on the superlative offers they have. this is an area where they are really attractive as the offers are fabulous. many buy a 's, special discount, summer quencher offers and much more. I had a shot on a scotch and beer together with some lush panneer tikka and flower cabbage for business. this is also a place where they can spend ideally long hours for their cozy comfort. a total of an old schoolable, which happens to be a vintage charm of him's own.
