The Kings Head - Chepstow

We stopped by on a whim this Sunday while heading home, and wow! This is definitely a place we'll be making a special trip to next time. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was rated a perfect 5.

Once I got off the bus at M&S with no taxis available, I hobbled to the nearest pub, The George, just 50 yards away, hoping a pint of HPA would help ease my knee. Unfortunately, that didn’t do the trick. However, the kind staff at The George (and their sister bar, The Lion, across the street) came to my rescue by giving me a lift to my car (don’t worry, it’s an automatic). They were truly wonderful, and I can’t thank them enough! Lifesavers. Service: 5 stars.
