Hooks Bbq Buffet - Cheraw

Great country buffet!! Price is fair and the food is great!! The folks at hooks definitely know their way around the kitchen!! Try a big lump burger or something else from the menu...or the buffet is hard to beat... The owners are quite friendly!!

Excellent food. They have great BBQ and their fish is amazing. I can't think of a bad item served on their bar!

I really enjoyed the food—it was 99% delicious! Of course, taste is subjective, so if there was anything I didn’t particularly care for, it was just a matter of personal preference. The staff was consistently friendly, the place was clean, and it was affordable. It's a shame that it has now closed.

I visited for the first and last time right after they opened. The buffet was disappointing, featuring brown mac and cheese. Perhaps it was just an off night, but it was unappetizing enough that I won’t be returning.

The food was quite good, but it used to be much better than what I experienced today. The service was quite poor; we had to wait a long time for everything except our food. It seemed like they didn't have enough staff, and we had to use plastic silverware and paper plates. Overall, it had the potential to be much better than it was.
