On my most recent visit, our waitress was Jasmine, who was a true delight—friendly and attentive. She checked in on us often and provided outstanding service. As always, the food was well-prepared, served quickly, and hot! I tend to drink a lot of water, and Jasmine made sure to refill my glass before I even had to ask. The food quality is top-notch, and there is an impressive variety of choices.
I’ve been to Silver Diner a few times and I’ve had great meals until now. We had the crab cake Benedict and sandwich which was both ok. The crab cakes had more breading than crab meat and lacked seasoning. I wish the spinach on the Benedict was sautéed instead of raw, that made it harder to eat. The hibiscus lemonade was very tasty. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.
Elevated restaurant-quality takes on classic American diner food that will shock and rock your taste buds! Earlier this year, my wife and I had tried the Silver Diner for the first time at one of their locations near the DC area. Since we were close to home and didn't want to miss football Sunday, we decided to give the Cherry Hill location a try. As we usually do, my wife and I split two dishes, and since it was brunch, we tried both a sweet and a savory dish. Dish 1: Bison huevos rancheros. The bison was lean and flavorful, and was the star of the show of this dish. Oaxaca cheese was a unique add and was light and creamy. Wheat tortillas had great crunch as well. However, the eggs were overdone. A runny yoke would have taken the dish to the next level. Dish 2: Red white and blue french toast. Berries and cinnamon cream sauce were delicious combinations on the French toast. Berries were fresh and tart adding much needed acid. Chocolate drizzle added a nice bittersweet note as well. However, we both agreed that the bread itself was a bit dry and needed to be soaked a bit longer. Side dish: home fries and scrapple Home fries paired great with rancheros but were also dry and lacked seasoning. It felt like they should have come with the rancheros. Scrapple is a long-time favorite of mine. It had the perfect crispy outside and soft inside scrapple lovers like me love! Honestly, one of my favorite parts of the meal. Drinks My wife had coffee with her meal, which she said was mentionably good and better than expected. (You do get bottomless coffee refills but we had to ask and only got a refill for it once. Miscellaneous Service was good but not excellent. Our food was brought out promptly but some of our eggs weren't and we had to ask for more coffee. Floor and tables were clean, but the bathrooms were not. Overall A bit pricey at $28 per person (including a 20% tip . Feels like we could have paid about $20 less for a breakfast that was almost as good close to home. Still a pretty good overall experience, but our experience at the DC location was much better.
Great atmosphere! I love 50’s style diners! Friendly staff and the ambiance is incredible! The chicken noodle soup was really tasty but 9 bucks for a bowl is a little steep. The burger could have used a little more seasoning but it was ok. I wasn’t a fan of the gravy I think it had carrots in it or something it kinda tasted weird. Apple pie was killer . I’d definitely come back when I’m in the area
In town for a concert and we are always looking diners to go to. This is one that I would recommend. The food was really good with a unique flair to it. Reasonably priced and quick service.
