I received large planning support and customer service. ambers laterne has a beautiful ambiente. the sunset over the water-famous relaxing and romantic moods. everyone in my party has tasted about the taste of his diners, no one has any complaining. I would recommend ambers laterne for a nice date night, adult dinner party or small party. this is not a place to host small children of my opinion after because of the price and atmosphere.
This is my second visit. Took my wife and daughter there Saturday night before Mother's Day. We started off with calamari appetizer which was overcooked. Entrees are nice but really no choice in sides. I tried the shrimp and lobster pasta dish and the lobster was way overcooked. My daughter got the filet and like I said you get mashed potatoes and their mixed vegetables.
The restaurant from outside does not like a restaurant, but an office building. they have to go around the left side of the building and take the elevator or an outside staircase to the 2nd floor. the intention is decent less the quarry directly over the water. lolour server was called kay and she was fantastic. very polite and attentive. the ambiente is decent, but the cartridge mix is hip, or shorts and T-shirt. eating is cheap and tasty. we have the Calamari Appetizer that was delicious, but a tad oily. the acteur with risota was ok. the risotto was very good and tasteful. the filet was boiled properly, but had not much taste, so we put some salt and pepper on it. the beverages (mimosa skycumshot) were well made and refreshing. overall I would come back because the service and the menu points.
If you want excellent quality fine dining, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Lobster tortellini was good but not the best. Had appetizers and desserts along with the meal and they weren’t that tasty. Definitely overpriced and overrated.
We went early (Saturday} for Mother's Day dinner. Made reservations for 6 at 7:30pm . The nice young lady who took our reservation asked if it was for a special occasion and asked if we wanted a booth and window. I said yes, it's for Mother's Day dinner and yes we would like a booth by the window. We arrived at 7:20pm and waited for our seats after checking in. The nice hostess escorted us to our table. I asked the young lady about the booth at the window, and she told me that they gave that to the couple (2 people) behind us and that the window seats are not guaranteed!!!!!! Really!!!! The couple of two got the window booth after I made a reservation for this !!!!!!! I sat at our table and was angered of the evident mismanagement of the reservation process. We ordered our dinner with our waitress and enjoyed our food immensely. We enjoyed the food and the restaurant, just was upset with being disrespected
