Domoishi - Chesapeake

Love it everytime I come. The food is absolutely delicious! Spicy Miso Ramen with pork. ?

On our first visit we purchased Bao Bun pork and Bao Bun beef to go. The pork was pork stomach, which has a high fat content. But when got home, we found the pork was almost all fat and we couldn't eat it. We called the restaurant and they refunded our purchase. So we'll give them another try. Sometimes it's not how well you do but rather how well you correct your mistakes. The ordering is done on a tablet, which I understand is efficient. But there's something nice about human interaction when ordering a meal and we missed that.

Food was decent but the customer service was lacking. Upon entering I was just stared at with a blank stare. Employee was not paying attention and almost gave my food to a DoorDash employee until I received what she was doing. I explained to her that it was mine and she still looked confused.

Tuna and crab salad tasted old, and boba was over cooked. This Domoishi location could use some tips from other locations. Very inconsistent with other Domoishi.

This was my second visit and each time they are rude and dismissive. So busy talking among themselves they act like picking up a to go order is interfering with their gossip time. Never even said thank you. Next time I’ll go out of my way to drive to Kempsville location.
