Jasmine Thai Cuisine - Chesapeake

A good friend of mine recommended this restaurant, and I’m so glad she did! The ambiance was bright and clean, and the waitstaff were very attentive. The food was fresh and well-seasoned, without relying on salt or MSG like many typical Chinese takeout places do. The prices reflect the quality of the food, which is definitely justified. If you have a dairy intolerance or are vegan, this place is an excellent choice!

This restaurant is quite impressive. We ordered takeout—pad Thai and panang curry—and both dishes were delicious. The portion sizes are generous. While it's a bit pricier than typical Chinese takeout, the quality is significantly better. I would definitely eat here again. Just a heads up: Thai food tends to be spicy, so if you’re not a fan of heat, be sure to request less spice.

We had a wonderful dining experience! The restaurant is conveniently located in a shopping center, making it easily accessible. The atmosphere is laid-back and casual. Our lunch entrees were truly exceptional, and the spring rolls were outstanding!

This is the first time that I've ever had Thai food, and it was so delicious!!! I had the fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, and the Pad Thai. I have an egg allergy and I really appreciated that they are very conscious about food allergies. I will definitely be coming back again.

Editing to add that we still love this place after two years! We went to Thailand several months ago and haven't wanted to have thai food again until we found an authentic place, this place definitely nails it. They were highly recommended to us. The pad thai is perfect. The noodles were just right, super fresh sprouts and roasted peanuts and lime, and I love the more hoisin based sauce. We also got the potato/ pineapple yellow curry with chicken and it is also delicious. My husband said it's the most authentic thai he's had in the states. It was hard to stop ourselves once we were super full, but we still have good sized lunches from leftovers, too.
