They now only include one rib, and when I added BBQ chicken, I received just a few small, chopped-up pieces. It seems that L L here in Chesapeake is becoming cheap and stingy with their servings. Considering the price of the food, they really need to go back to the original portion sizes, which included two ribs and whole pieces of chicken. When I brought this up to the attendant at the front counter, they claimed it was a corporate decision, but that can’t be true since I just came from Hawaii, where the plates are still fully served.
Hawaiian cuisine is fantastic! If you haven't had the chance to try it yet, I highly recommend doing so. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance is inviting. The service is excellent as well!
One of my favorite restaurants! I discovered L&L while living on the Big Island, and it has become a true gem in the Hampton Roads area. Angie and Chris are incredible, serving up delicious food along with outstanding hospitality!
I just grabbed a musubi trio for lunch and it was excellent! I was worried it might be too little food but I am completely satisfied. The sauce on each musubi was so good and they put on the perfect amount. The gentleman at the register was so sweet and kind and even one of the cooks in the back was super friendly to me.I'll be back to try a full platter for sure the barbecue chicken is so good!
I’m was a loyal customer to L&L’s and was excited when the location in chesapeake opened. Prior to, I’ve had it in San Diego and loved it. I usually order over $300 worth of food for my baby shower, birthday parties, etc. Yesterday, my family and I went there for dinner I was disappointed with the level of service. The guys in the kitchen were awesome but the young lady in the front not so much. I 2 bottles of Arizona tea along with 2 ordered of mix BBQ with spam masubi. I noticed that the bottle for the tea says $1 at a great value but was charged $5.50 for the 2 bottles. When I got my good I requested 1 thing of teriyaki sauce. The young lady in the front said that it would be an extra charge. Seriously, I have never paid extra for sauce especially when I get the mixed bbq without the mac salad and got an extra scoop of rice instead. The food was completely dried. I was beyond annoyed, especially paying that much extra for Arizona tea and couldn’t even get sauce. No longer my go to spot.
