Lucita's Pupuseria - Chesapeake

Fantastic pupusas! Hubby got the giant all in one pupusa and I ordered a cheese, a chicken, and a revuelta (chicharron and beans). We both had leftovers! So flavorful! We will definitely make this a regular rotation dining option!

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. First of all, I had no idea it was located so close to my home. Additionally, I didn't expect it to be as fantastic as it was, considering it is in an old building in an unexpected area. It would be easy to overlook this hidden gem, and I probably wouldn't have discovered it if not for a friend's recommendation. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was exceptional. The food was delicious - I ordered the Carne asada tacos with rice and beans and loved the different options available. You can customize your tacos to your preference. I will definitely be coming back with friends and family.

I had never been to this restaurant before, but a friend highly recommended it. Despite being in the shopping center many times, I had never considered trying it out. I'm so glad I did because the food is made to order and everything was fresh, hot, and incredibly tasty.

I had been eyeing this restaurant for a while and finally decided to order delivery. The tacos were rolled and fried to perfection, and the chicken and cheese pupusa and pork and cheese pupusa were cooked just right. The slaw had a nice crunch and a slight kick from the jalapenos. My only complaint was that it took about an hour for the food to arrive, and the original delivery person had to be replaced. Despite the wait, the meal was definitely worth it.

The food here is quite enjoyable. Latin food from El Salvador, Mexico, and Honduras. The steak chimichanga was good. It was lightly fried, and the slightly chewy pieces of steak had a flavorful chili-oil type of sauce on it. They offered horchata, marañon, tamarindo fresh waters. The tamarindo had a mild, almost citrus-like sweetness to it. Very good. I'd recommend this place.
