South Norfolk Memorial Library

Didn’t know there was a South Norfolk library, but it’s pretty new. It’s just that it’s a section of Chesapeake, which is not too much else there, they trying to rebuild this area, but the Library is top-notch

This is a very nice library. It's got a modern look and feel, the facilities are laid out nicely. It would be nice to see the Book End Cafe open, the it would become my go-to place when I need a place that's quiet to work or study.

This library is located near what is probably the worst part of Chesapeake. Like so many libraries in ghetto areas, it does serve as a flop spot for a few ghetto types loud, inconsiderate talking, laughing and cursing, sleeping on the furniture, and eating entire meals. Drunk, inebriated, and/or mentally ill. You cant read a book without looking up to watch your back every few minutes.Nice little facility just difficult to enjoy to the fullest with the mixed clientele sometimes.

Nicely updated. Good place to read. Library is still fun everyone.

If U can't, read they will teach u. This is miss opportunity for black people. a library is just free education and reading if u ask me.
