Akash Indian Cuisine - Cheshire East

We’ve not used Akash in a while but have previously enjoyed their food. Ordered at 7.18pm via their website which said food would be with us in 90 mins. This came and went so my wife called up to enquire and was told it was enroute. Called back 20 mins later to be told it had not even left the kitchen!! I asked the manager to cancel our order as really did not want to eat after 10pm at night. Now waiting to see if the manager refunds my credit card as promised. Very disappointed..!

It was a simple takeaway for four but very fresh tasting. And they threw in some extras when it was a bit slower than expected

This used to be the best curry house for miles, but we have ordered twice recently (the second time in the hope the first disaster was a one off) and the food was dreadful. And I'm honestly so sad!!! A curry from Akash always picked me up when I needed a smile on my face. The korma has turned bright yellow, thick, sickly sweet when it was just perfect before. What have you done guys??? And the chips they are now so big and thick you get practically half a dozen to a bag. I'm really sad, please bring back the amazing quality food that you once produced.

We 've ordered from the Akash for years. This is the first meal we 've had since they 've been based at the Bombay. Truly awful!! I 've never reviewed before but felt compelled to the minute I threw my fork down in disgust. Firstly the Butter chicken tasted and looked just like a Korma and the second dish we 'd ordered had no resemblance. It arrived containing egg and shrimps both of which I 'm allergic to and obviously would never order. The whole meal even down to the poppadoms lacked flavour and the 'Hot ' curry contained no heat. Chips were the best bit but arrived luke warm at best. So disappointed and with regret we shan 't be ordering again. £35 for a sub standard curry for three is not a mistake we 'll make twice. Avoid!!!

I go to akash quite frequently for chicken korma. It is really nice, good food at a good price! Currently orders are collected from Bombay restaurant which is only round the corner.
