Came here on Sunday evening for an impromptu tea,ordered Sunday roast only to be told there were none left (bad management)in my eyes,ordered fish chips instead,food came was disappointed with the size of the portion the quality of it,for £16 I would have expected better more of it,batter was soft at one end of it chips not cooked properly,peas were hard on top where it had been sat underneath heat lamps,we came Here on a recommendation ,won’t be rushing back in a hurry

We all enjoyed a lovely evening as a family and friends. Good service, very friendly staff with a smile and helpful with the food choices. Good portions and reasonably priced too.

I met up with friends for dinner at a beautifully renovated restaurant. The food was delicious, but the overly bright lighting detracted from the ambiance.

We are very happy regular customers. We live close by and are thrilled to have this restaurant as our go-to spot. The drinks are consistently great and the food never disappoints. We dine here frequently and have never had a bad experience.

We recently visited for an evening meal and had a lovely time. The food was great and so was the service. My sister in law was advised by the waitress that the pie was something else and so she sent it back ...... it was fine.... and she could have eaten it in my view ... a bit embarrassing really but the staff were great about it and swapped her meal with out any issue at all. The refurbished decor is also very nice and really maintains the olde world atmosphere.
