Contribuisci feedbackMy daughter and I went to Frankies last night for Steak night which is every Wednesday. We got two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30. The steaks were cooked exactly how we wanted them - medium to rare. They came with mashed potatoes, spinach, and a small jug of peppercorn sauce. The meal was absolutely delicious; the steak was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully on the plate. The chef did a fantastic job. The service from the staff in the bar was also excellent, with everyone serving us with a smile. We will definitely be returning.
I spontaneously decided to dine at Frankies this evening and was delighted by the diverse menu. I decided to try the steak rainbow salad and was blown away by how perfect it was. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection, and the portion size was very generous. I also ordered the Mac n cheese, which was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend it. I even asked for the chef's name, Cam, so that I could let him know how much I enjoyed the meal. Kenzie, the young lady working at the bar, was incredibly polite and attentive despite being very busy. She made sure that everyone was taken care of and couldn't do enough for us.
The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and accommodating. Although there is a time limit for the car park behind the building, there is free street parking available right outside the lodge. I booked a one night stay at the lodge and was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and bright room. The food was delicious, although they only offer a set steak menu (with a vegetarian option) on Wednesdays. Overall, it was a delightful place to visit.
Omg we went here last night to celebrate my daughters new job had prosecco and then the most beautifully cooked rump steak with peppercorn sauce. My husband likes his steak blue and that is exactly how it came. My daughter Portia and I asked for medium rare perfection on a plate. The only suggestion would be a choice of extras as both my daughter and husband dislike tomatoes which it was served with may be a choice of tomatoes or mushrooms? The chef was called Cameron Davies. Service was fabulous , staff are obviously very well trained a visit is a must!! We will be back going to try the afternoon tea next :
The food was delicious and the staff were so attentive. Absolutely loved it! Definitely going back!!
