No.1 Chef - Cheshire East

A year on since my last review ; just picked up my mixed and a chicken sweet and sours with rice . Tasty and fresh . At least as good as anywhere I've been . Polite service . Piping hot .

Fast Delivery, Great food, Really good portion size and service. When I spend over £15 I've got free spring rolls too.

I finish work late and No. 1 Chef never fails to provide a tasty special fried rice or beef in black bean sauce . Never had anything but nice food . It's always ready too when they say . I now don't bother with other Chinese's locally though I've tried most .

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. The food was not great at all. Luke warm. Chicken had no flavor. Thai green curry was grey in colour and gloopy in texture. There were carrots and water chestnuts in the green curry which was strange. Not authentic at all. The duck was edible but the pancakes just split when folded. Won’t be ordering again. Mine went in the bin. It’s actually put me off Chinese food. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.

In the interest of balance ; Since my last review in Jan I've picked up 2/3 meals a month . Fried rice or S/S mainly . At least as good as others . Never have to wait . Tasty . I'm not a foodie but have travelled so am quite discerning about food .
