They’ve a dedicated vegan section on the menu which is great! Kids get a free pancake and then you just pay for topping. I went for the banana blue I think it was called which was nice, I also had a smoothie which was good too. My husband really enjoyed his pancake too. We planned to return but unfortunately they were shut that day! Would return and recommend.
Never heard of Hanky Panky before however was meeting up with my brother , sister in law and nephew in Chester. My brother said he’d booked us in for 1.30 pm and said they had been a few times when you first opened. We arrived a few minutes early and a lovely lady sorted our table out for us . We had a little wait to order but no big deal probably saw my brother procrastinating about how many pancakes he could eat lol . Waitress arrived and was lovely and took our order quickly. Food arrived and was lovely so we scoffed the lot then ordered another round this time I went for savoury ‘Say Cheese’ absolutely delicious. Great little pots of tea and properly made coffees . Prices really reasonable. Nice cosy atmosphere. Waitresses checked in on us a few times , they were great and loved the hair wraps . Had a great little afternoon with the family I leave you a pic of my brother unable to decide what to have and having to borrow my glasses to read the menu
Hanky Panky has become a stable for my boyfriend and I every time we come to Chester. I love it so much. I am a creature of habit and I always get home on the range which is bacon and maple syrup. If you’ve never been: they offer scotch pancakes (which are like American pancakes), crepes, and omelettes. If you get a breakfast pancake you get two pancakes and if you get any others, it’s one. Oh! They also offer a vegan alternative for most of their pancakes as well. It’s just such good value! My boyfriend and I get pancakes and drinks each for under £20 overall. We can’t stop going!
Me and my partner love this place so much and we are constantly raving about it. We aren’t from Chester but heard of this place from my friend who is a local and now we drive up from Birmingham just for the pancakes a few times a year. This time we had to show our close friends this spot and they all loved it. The staff are lovely, especially Rekha who had the brightest smile ever and made us feel welcome and also the pancakes look and taste amazing.
A brilliant find. Lovely food, great value and the friendliest of service. Definitely worth a visit
