Shared a toastie with hubby and it was gorgeous. Special mention for the side salad which was a work of art, plentiful and delicious. Really lovely, warm, chatty staff. A great place to eat!
We arrived late in the afternoon after a trip to Liverpool. The cafe staff were clearing up but were happy to serve us and we enjoyed a nice cuppa before looking around the garden centre. Great range of plants and really good prices. We've found our new source for plants and lunch/tea depending upon time.
Very good lunch time menu. Lots of choice and very large portions. Very friendly staff and the chance to buy some plants.
Called in for tea cake whilst on a tour around the Wirral lanes. Good selection of food. Cycle parking slightly awkward as you have to walk bikes through Garden Centre.
Went today, after my son raved about their breakfasts. Woman behind till was surly and looked totally miserable. Waited nearly half hour after being told was a 10/15 min wait for food !. Starving by time it arrived...we'd been talking to a family next to us who were eating theirs, and everyone commented on the lovely Cumberland sausage. Massive. !!. Ours arrived with 1 very small sausage on each plate. Asked waiter why but he just looked blank !. Very expensive for what you get. Won't be going again. My son was mortified after recommending it .
