La Fattoria - Cheshire West and Chester

Most of the menu can be made gluten-free, including starters, pastas, and pizzas. There were only a few dishes that couldn't be adapted, such as lasagna, calzone, and battered dishes. It's been a long time since I've had so many options to choose from. I didn't experience any negative effects. There is no separate gluten-free menu, just choose and let the staff know. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, although I didn't inquire about cross-contamination.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately not safe for those with dietary restrictions. Despite repeatedly asking about the possibility of cross contamination and being reassured before making a reservation and placing my order, I was informed just one minute before my food arrived that there had been cross contamination with any gluten-free dishes. At that point, it was too late to make a different choice, and I felt pressured into accepting the meal, which ended up making me sick.

This Italian restaurant located in the heart of Chester is one of my top choices. They offer a fantastic gluten-free menu and I always feel confident dining here. I highly recommend it.

Food is excellent. We had booked a table, but were left waiting for 15 minutes before we were given a table. Table service was fast efficient.

We checked Fattoria as a last minute for dinner. The staff made sure they found us a table, no booking but only a 5 minute wait. All staff were very friendly and attentive and couldn’t have been more welcoming. The food was excellent, up there with the best pizza we have had. And the homemade tiramisu….. 100% recommend!!
