The Bulls Head

Went here at the weekend for a meal. We had fish chips which was perfectly presented, sadly the taste didn’t match the appearance. The fish in particular tasted of burnt overused fat and the meal overall was greasy. It was a shame as the beer garden here is absolutely beautiful, much care and work has gone into this lovely area however the taste of the food should match the appearance. However at the prices charged this really needs to be worked on. I will return and try something else, but it won’t be the fish and chips again for certain. Maybe if the fat was changed more frequently and more attention given to the oil they use for frying it would improve things.

Took the father in law out for his birthday. What a meal, great service and lovely beer too! Awesome!

Had two roast dinner take out today and it was excellent, very good value for money, won’t get a take out from any where else now other than the Bulls Head thank you

The Bulls Head have provided a great takeaway service during lockdown and this time has been no different. All the meals we have had are excellent quality and very good value for money. My favourite dish is the **** and Bull but my son has had the pies and fish and these are also excellent. We find it's cheaper to get a meal from here than a takeaway and food is always very well cooked and excellent quality. Thank you

Outdoor Sunday lunch during lockdown was amazing . Table heaters available and lovely staff . One way system adhered to and no wait . No having to be kicked off the table promptly after 2 hours was up which is nice. Definitely visit again
