The Carlton has been a hidden gem for many years. Pool table, juke box, daily food specials, entertainment… always a great venue to choose any day of the week. Glad to see you guys still going strong throughout these difficult times. Keep up the good work!

Finding a great vegan option outside of the city center can be tough, but The Carlton Tavern offers spectacular food. However, what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service from Debbie and Gordon. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Whether you're visiting Chester or are a local, The Carlton Tavern is the most friendly and entertaining place to dine. I highly recommend this restaurant - 10/10!

I had a delivery yesterday for the first time and it definitely won't be the last. The food was delicious and tasted like homemade meals. The portions were generous and the staff was friendly. I ordered the roast chicken with extra roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese, which were cooked to perfection. For dessert, I had the homemade cheesecake, which was incredibly tasty. I highly recommend this place.

This pub is fantastic, with great staff and service. It's a wonderful spot for live music and has a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend making a trip to this place.
