Contribuisci feedbackWe booked a table for family meal. We were seated in bar at 2.30pm our food finally arrived after 4pm. When I complained we were advised they don’t do table service in bar area (not our choice). We had to go bar for drinks and then go back to ask for menu’s. Customer service unacceptable. When we said this to manager advised that we didn’t order till 3.10pm that was because we had not been given menu’s. It still nearly an hour after that for food to arrive. And we witnessed other customers ordering at their table table service. Food was lovely when finally arrived
So cold, I needed a coat. 1st choices were unavailable. Wrong starter arrived, then we were told that our choice was unavailable. How can olives and bread be unavailable in a pub? Cold plates and cold vegetables. Not offered any desert menu. Not somewhere I want to return to. Such a shame.
We visited 24th October 7pm. What a special occasion it was my sons 1st birthday and my dads 60th. I visited with my family and some close friends, every person enjoyed their food and the service was brilliant. Friendly and attentive staff which made our experience so much better for such a special occasion. We will be back to try the new menu! Thank you
Such a shame for Weaverham but the food at the Hanging Gate is terrible. Chicken like rubber. Menu uninspiring. Generally poor quality all around. Nice enough for drinks. Even the Alvanley Arms has a better menu and it’s the same group.
Just been for a quick lunch here after having lived 10 minutes away for over 20 years yet never been It's been done out in a lovely cosy way. Decoration is beautiful We had a lovely warm welcome from the two ladies who gave impeccable service throughout our stay Good menu choice and quick service Only had the ploughman's but presentation was excellent and tasted lovely Definitely recommend and will be back again soon
