The Oakfield - Chester

The food was excellent, as always. However, the service was quite slow; it took 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and the area we were seated in wasn't particularly busy. Additionally, there was a mix-up with our bills, and we were mistakenly charged for appetizers and meals we didn't order. The confusion with our bill arose from another table's order, but it was eventually resolved. As members, we look forward to visiting again soon, but we are concerned about the service.

I had a lovely meal with personal attention and a pleasant atmosphere.

It was just average—nothing remarkable. The restaurant is situated in a lovely setting. The staff was polite, but they could benefit from being more confident when interacting with guests.

A few minutes before the booked time (13.00 o'clock) and our booking was not on the tablet of the waiter, although confirmed that a few days earlier and confirmation come later on the afternoon and seemingly around 12.40 o'clock 19. oktober. there was also a table, not the best, but acceptable. they think we missed on free prosecco, as it was our jubilee, but despite everything it was a pleasant meal and a day in the zoo.

All good, never disappoints. A lovely interlude especially if it's raining!
