The first time here waitress was fine, but had no knowledge of the menu. Careful if you? interested in buying pasta you? ll be charged a base pasta price then an additional cost for the sauce, and each individual ingredient thereafter including mushrooms and paprika. Do you prefer to go to Carrabas if you are interested in buying pasta than you? ll pay more here (although not the same quality). Alcoholic drinks are good and the bartender was friendly. Oh, and they were made of free garlic bread.
For my son's birthday, my husband and I ordered a white pizza with bacon and black olives. The pizza was $20 (we have a dash pass from DoorDash). I gave a $7 tip for the delivery I felt was generous, finally gas is expensive. My point is that we spent $27 on a pizza that arrived lukewarm, dry and with burnt crust. The overall taste was good, but it wasn't enjoyable. I write this review because we recently ate by Antonio and the second time was worse than the first. I wouldn't recommend Antonio.
My first visit to Antonio?s restaurant! Its atmosphere is what you imagine when an Italian/American generation house with a hint of shelf life. A sweet old lady greeted us at the door and brought us to our seats. Our waiter Barry came with positivity and kindness, we ordered our Pepsi product soda from Dr.Pepper. It was mixed pretty well for a well drink. The menu was hard to read, with small fonts used for the descriptions, I could see the with impaired vision need some support in ordering. My partner ordered a whole Stromboli that I encouraged to have leftovers. I command the Lobster Argo but unfortunately they were out of Lobster, so my back-up plan was Shrimp Scallop Scampi. Served with my meal was a possibility of soup or salad, and my salad was professionally prepared even if simply with balsamikum dressing. None of the leaves was nearby to devour, which shows a focus on freshness. The best part of the meal was the authentic bread with the olive oil dip. I could eat it anytime! On the main course my Shrimp Scampi was cooked near perfection and the garlic butter sauce was very savory! My only handle was the pieces of garlic were not cut smaller, so you get large pieces of garlic that finally burned my tongue, similar to Wasabi. The Stromboli was magnificent and it was made with the same dough as the dipped bread served with a part of the tomato sauce. The tomato sauce is very good with great attention to keep the taste naturally. Back to Stromboli, as twice the ingredients are folded on one side, double the food juices are concentrated, this then makes the bottom of the Stromboli a little asggy as the dough sucks them up. Food kept for a hand makes your hand a little creepy. We had the remnants later the next day and it was still so good! Overall, if you? again looking for an amazing Italian dinner that politely over Olive Garden, I recommend a stop at this Antonio?s restaurant!
We were seated right away. The food was good. I had the veal in white wine butter sauce with wilted spinach. I also had the Caprese salad; the balsamic vinaigrette reduction was good. The only complaint is that the tomatoes were not sliced consistently. The atmosphere was nice and chill, waitress was very polite, booths were nice and spacious but a little low to the ground.
