Barton Restaurant Services - Chester

Last visit was in 2019 when I wrote a review. Three years later it has not changed. A good Italian restaurant has to have good bread. Not here. You get a very small serving of bed and some type of bread dough that has seasoning. The Mariana sauce is bitter and you need to add sugar. Portions are good as was the service. Although this is close to us, there are much better Italian restaurant that are worth the extra drive.

Based on other reviews I don 't know if the back of the house has changed but out of the two meals we ordered neither was worth the cost. I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken. Sauce was watery, did not have enough parmesan cheese both in the sauce nor over the dish and the chicken was dry and overcooked. My wife ordered sea bass and scallops over risotto. Sea bass was cooked dry and tough, the risotto was a precooked steamed long grain rice mixed with some sort of sauce and the scallops were overcooked. Disappointed

Not a very happy customer. Reached out Friday January 31st 2020 for fryer Hood system malfunction however nobody ever showed up. Had issue addressed with another company, how ever felt the need to give this guy a second chance reached out again March 4th 2020 with hood system 100% down and was told would be arriving the following morning by 10 to 10:30 after a couple other service calls. After nobody showing up texted a little after 2 p.m. to see what was going on and a let's call it an emergency call had came in however I thought our restaurant was an emergency in my opinion but I guess not to these folks. waited till the next day yet again nobody showed up! Reach out through text with no response. Bottom of the line as a business having 10 location prompt and honest service is what we depend on and if that's what you need this company is not for you. I could go further and further but my experience personally was not worth wasting my time calling these folks any further nor will recommend nor do business with them. My bad experience should not happen to anybody else call someone else if you need something repaired in your kitchen they don't have their priorities straight nor apparently no customer service or run a business.
