Contribuisci feedbackI usually go before work to Playa Bowls and it is really full. Many people say it's expensive, but considering how much they give you, and how expensive it is to produce today, I think it's totally worth the price. The staff there is incredibly friendly, and even if they were really busy, the cute young lady with the Septum Piercing got my order out very quickly, and the atmosphere there is just as inviting:
I waited 25 minutes for 1 bowl and 1 smoothie. When I went to the desk to ask where it was, the person said that it was here and pulled it out of a closet under the desk and the manager immediately (and unpromoted) I said we called your name and no one came. #1 that 's not true, my wife and I stood at picking up for 25 minutes and there were like 2 other people there with us there was 0 chance she called names. #2 makes it my fault right away. #3 she took my order and I'm the only one there after 25 minutes you think they'd check out myself why I'm still standing there. I left the service quite upset. Bowl and smoothie were good, so 2 stars in total.
Chester location is clean, staff is young friendly. My first time I ordered Playa Bowls. Too bad the Poke Bowls are not offered at any place, which I don't understand and what I really wanted. I ordered a smoothie and oatmeal instead.
Delicious and never disappointed about the freshness! I love my 7 year will eat Playa Bowl. Service was also fast and friendly!
Terrible customer service at this location and questionable health and safety practices. Met my boyfriend at this location but I primarily frequent the playa bowls in Somerville at least once a week, and have never never experienced any issues with that location. Unfortunately, this playa bowls location was a completely different experience. Our bowls were only 2/3 of the way filled and I also added a tip, so that was disappointing. However, the rest of our experience was even worse. We sat at the counter to eat and one of the employees is already mopping the floors (one hour before closing mind you) while customers are still walking in and out. We saw an elderly woman walk in, and she easily could have fallen on the wet floor. The final straw was when that same employee started spraying cleaner on the counter maybe a foot from where we were sitting, and chemicals were coming into contact with our food. We were completely disgusted at that point and got up to leave. It was obvious that they wanted to get out of there as early as possible and we noticed that they locked the door prior to 8pm (their posted closing time). Not sure what is going on at this particular location but we will avoid this one at all costs. Do better, especially when it comes to the health and safety of your customers.
