We ordered the lobster ravioli with the house salad. Both were delicious and filled. We also ordered the crabs as an appetizer and were also very satisfied with them! My additions to the cook. I'm just coming back!
Our party of six was immediately and well visited by our waiter and many other servers. It is quite obvious that the staff work well here. Our food was delicious with generous portions. My shrimp taco bowl came out late, but they threw in a few extra shrimps. I can't wait to go back.
First time to Riptides! The closest to Chester is for a saltwater feeling and taste riptides. They had live music that was pleasant, and outdoor seats. It is a very nicely furnished and well maintained restaurant. Our server was friendly and professional, but the main part was our Mojitos. They were too sweet and had hardly any alcohol in them. The prices indicated on the menu are reasonable, except the crab cake. My ahi tuna was well prepared, and the taste of the rub was beautifully treated. The Hush puppies were good, but served with a large amount of butter as a side that some like to enjoy, but seemed like overkill, as Hushpuppies usually have a slightly buttery taste already. Maybe another dive alternative could be better. The fried squid was light and crispy, and the marinara sauce was also savory. Riptides is a great place for seafood and music! Next time!
Excellent food, service and precautions! Music Thursday-Saturday weather permit. Ahi tuna bites and mussels with Poblano cream sauce delicious! Our waitress was adorable... her name was Bee like Bumble Bee!
This was my first visit as I've passed the location many times in my travels. Went to dinner with some dear friends. Atmosphere was nice, hostess friendly and our server too, however, you could tell they had a management change or adjustment by the newness of the staff details. Example, not bringing small plates to share appetizers for distribution. The food was simple, yet delicious, especially the scallops in my Linguine Pescatore. (See photo) I had a house salad and crab bites with a spicy remoulade which was divine! I used a little remoulade for my salad too on the side. With a little minor training for the detail overlooked, it could become a seafood lover's favorite local fare.
