Eagle Tavern Taproom - Chester Springs

Everyone was very pleased with their meals. Food was served hot and the server was very attentive. We'll be going back.

Unfortunately we had to leave and have our meal at home. The loudness of the band made it impossible to hear ourselves or the waiter?

Passed this tavern many times over the years and was always curious about the establishment. We recently visited my hometown and decided to try it out. It was amazing. I ordered the scallops and they were probably the best I ever had. Our waitress was a jewel and had a great personality. Will definitely eat here on our next visit

Went for a late dinner on Saturday night. It was surprisingly empty. The food quality and taste is definitely good. The service is hit or miss. We’ve been there a few times and it’s consistently good overall

Although we have eaten at Eagle Tavern many times in the past, this trip might have knocked it off our list for good. For openers, apparently management doesn't keep tabs on what is posted on Open Table. When I made the reservation, OT said there was a Happy Hour special that offered drinks and apps at price. The server knew nothing about this when we mentioned it. She checked it with management and advised us that there were no Happy Hour specials that evening. Strike one. My wife and our guest ordered iced tea. The server whom we later learned was working her night did not bring sweetener with the teas, so my wife asked for it. After a good wait, I finally got up and retrieved the sweetener myself. Strike When the french onion soup I ordered arrived ALONG WITH my entree, I sent it back. Who wants the soup course at the same time as their entree? Strike They're OUT
