Father Son Pizzeria - Chesterfield

I decided to visit this restaurant to try Chicago-style deep dish pizza for the first time. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the smallest size of the Chicago-style deep dish pizza and couldn't even finish half of it. I chose paprika and mushroom toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the mushrooms. It seems they don't typically add mushrooms to their deep dish pizzas, but I don't think it affected the overall taste negatively. The pizza was filled with layers of pepperoni, cheese, and sauce, and the crust was the standard pizza crust. The deep dish pizza took 45 minutes to bake. Some people may not enjoy this style of pizza, but it is worth a try if you've never had it before. The restaurant also offers gluten-free crust, but it contains cheese so it may not be suitable for those with dairy allergies. Overall, I enjoyed the Chicago-style deep dish pizza and would recommend giving it a try, especially if you are craving it and are closer to this restaurant than Chicago. I didn't try any other menu items, but their salads looked appealing and they have a special bun that I didn't have room to try.

The pizza is large and the staff is wonderful! We have been coming here for decades and it never disappoints. This is the only place to get authentic Chicago-style pizza.

Dave, the owner, greeted us as we arrived at his restaurant. It was our first time there, and he took the time to talk to us and explain the menu. Despite us arriving only 30 minutes before closing time, he was still willing to make us a fresh pizza.

I get pizza from here twice a week or more. some of the best pizza I've ever had. I like my pizza well made and it is always perfectly cooked. the pizza in chicago is great.

Best pizza in Macomb county hands down. The sauce is ther best pizza sauce ive ever had. Chicago style is a must try!
