Ivy's Bohemia House - Chesterton

They were on a wait when we arrived. One waitress adeptly served all (we watched as we were waiting for our table in this small place). The food was delicious. We shared a crab cakes appetizer while my entree was Shepherd's pie and my husband had Cajunravioli. We also ordered a very reasonable Chianti. Excellent service and very reasonable prices. We'll be back when we're intown

We were driving home from Chicago and this was a good stopping point for lunch. We decided to drop into Ivy's. They have dog friendly seating outside which I appreciated as it can be hard to find places that allow pets while traveling and you shouldn'tleave your dog in the car! The decor was very cute the server's were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and the menufairly simple. The chocolate torte was a great dessert. I only wish we could visit again!

This restaurant is hands-down one of our top favorite restaurants ever! The owners are truly unique and amazing. The food is delicious and the atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, is inviting and cozy. We highly recommend trying the Polish dishes and, of course, Amy's exceptional baked goods (my personal favorite is the key lime pie). If you are in the Dunes area, make sure to stop by this charming restaurant owned by individuals who are passionate about cooking and ensuring their customers' satisfaction.

The ambiance was nice. We dined on the back patio. Our waitress, Sarah, was very attentive. I ordered my steak medium rare, but it came out medium well. However, it wasn't tough so I decided not to send it back. It was still good, just not cooked to my liking. The hollandaise sauce had a pleasant lemony flavor.

This restaurant is located in a house in downtown Chesterton. We sat in the backyard on a lovely day, with construction noise and passing trains in the background. The food was excellent - I had smoked mozzarella ravioli in Cajun alfredo sauce, while my wife enjoyed a Polish dish that brought back childhood memories. The restaurant offers a wide selection of mixed drinks, as well as reasonably priced wine and beer options. The atmosphere was great, the food delicious, and the service was good, though prices are on the higher side - but that's to be expected in Chesterton. We will definitely be returning.
