Menu is extensive, food served on the table at minimal waiting time to explode your taste buds. Have visited this place every time I travel to Chicago, and every time it meets expectations!
We thought there was a quick lunch on the way back from Chicago to Michigan. The food was amazing. Super rich in taste. I loved how they have 5 different spices. The staff was friendly and nice. They also had quite fast service. Would highly recommend if you like Indian food.
Eating is fine. The interior is full of Indian clamps. It looks so sharp. The staff is nice. The menu is just a few elements and then they can simply make different things out of it. So chicken cadai is chicken curry and added onions and pepper. But basically it's chicken cure. I just order chicken curry instead. Naan was really good. Don?t order tawa/home style roti it was?t good. We were there a few times the quality of the food deteriorates every time. Mango Lassi didn't order, it wasn't even close to what it should be. If you don't have any options, or if you? to Northwest there are no other Indian food options, is the only scenario I go back. Also the person who took orders did not know English so that they will adapt the spicy level to themselves. You're not really stuck in the spices.
Good taste with Ok service. Restaurant seems good to take. We were on the way to Chicago and wanted a quick bite and stumbled over when we were looking for a Tacoglocke and thought to try it out. The food came fast, but no water served and waiter service can be a bit more inviting to welcome the guests. A simple free tap/machine filtered water for a full service restaurant is a must and wins customers. If the owner recognizes that he receives more customers. We didn't complain and bought it just like I didn't argue with waiters. When the service improves, it becomes even better to see how many Indians happen near Indiana Dunes. All right for a quick bite. The waiter can do better.
We were super hungry after doing the 3 dune challenge in the nearby Indiana dunes and we were quite surprised to find an Indian restaurant nearby. Decided to give it a try and we must say we were mightily impressed. It's an hidden gem. Everything served was hot and fresh and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended.
