Service was just okay, largely because our server was overwhelmed with too many tables, and the kitchen was slow in getting food out. I used to visit this restaurant three or four times a month when I lived closer, but I doubt I'll be coming back. Both my wife and I were quite disappointed. On a positive note, at least the beer was cold and enjoyable!
I ordered the ribs prepared Tim's way, which involves saucing them and then grilling them again to achieve a nice char. That’s my favorite way to enjoy ribs! I would definitely return to this restaurant every time I'm in the Portage, Indiana area.
The best ribs in town! The only non-meat option on the menu for vegetarians and vegans is a build-your-own macaroni and cheese, which comes with plenty of mix-ins. I chose a salad without chicken, and it was fresh and delicious! My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was very pleased with it as well. We've been regulars for years and truly enjoy the atmosphere and the hardworking staff. Just a heads up, it’s not a family restaurant—21 and over only.

I had the ribs made Tim's way, which involves applying the sauce and then grilling them again for extra flavor. I absolutely love my ribs! I would definitely return every time I find myself in Portage, Indiana.
