Only had drinks at this beach bar when we waited for the ferry back to Cancun , but it was packed which is always a good sign and not expensive.Drinks arrived quick considering the amount of people in the bar. The service was good, nice waiter chatty and friendly the food that other 's where eating looked good and fresh fish on the menu , shame we didn't have time to eat but would have done if we didn't need to get back on the ferry.quick a few locals which is also a good sign ,well worth a visit if you need to kill a bit of time, just along on the left from the ferry terminal .
The food, service and atmosphere are very good. The food is worth traveling to the restaurant for. Good prices and food.
There are 2 La Mission restaurants on the island. One at the plaza for all the tourists...this is not the one. This one is off the main drag between streets 3 and 4 (I believe). Their tortilla soup is the best!
The open-air barbecue grill beach restaurant is located to your left along the beachside as you exit the main ferry docks . the grilled lobster, shrimp, steak for two were generous portions. Dining for 3 adults including ice cold cervezas was relatively inexpensive. You could also just sit and relax and enjoy some cocktails. Not hurried or felt pressured to order.
