IWe eat there a lot, so it’s easy to forget how special it is. But, when I have been traveling and away for a long time, it always hits me just how well it matches up with the very best food on my travels and just how special it is. The people are just lovely. Exquisite.
My all-time favorite restaurant. Everyone can find some wonderful food even for people who are not comfortable with sushi/sashimi
This place consistently delivers with good food and service. We ordered a wide variety of items as shareables lots of sushi, gyoza, spareribs, wagu, crispy brussel sprouts, veggie tempura, miso and several desserts. It was all delicious and beautifully prepared. I love the cozy round booths, they are also the best for acoustics and being able to easily hear.
The food is consistently excellent. I hadn’t been since they added the Bento Box to the dinner menu, and it did not disappoint.
Sushiko was outstanding. Love having it open for lunch again. The only problem was one that I thought later I could have resolved: Toddler at the next table were VERY loud making it difficult for the hard of hearing to hear each other. In retrospect, I should have asked to be moved. It would have been nice, however, if Sushiko had recognized the problem and offered the solution themselves. That said, I would go back in a heartbeat. Love this neighborhood gem.
