I recommend getting a page like suppe. the gazpacho suppe is satisfactory and surprisingly fill. Unfortunately there are no vegan desserts, and there is only a vegan blueberry muffin from her baked.
Le pain quotidien is a successful chain of Belgian caffes that knows the right mix of casual to have been baked with fine quality, to disreen and eat in general. this is a small lpq than most of the others, so it may feel a bit cramped, but in this area of maryland there are slim pickings for vegans. so it is comforting to drive here in the area of the fheights to the lpq. all menu items that are vegan are clearly marked with a carrot their daily suppe is always vegan! their brote are almost all vegan! but always check! I also like that they have desserts, and that they were trying new baked that are vegan (matcha / green tee muffin). they also have other desserts/sweet, such as puddings and the desert and in general can have the eating steep prices. but I feel that it is worth it, and I hope that it is! the people here are really helpful and nice, as well as patients must be considered in this part of the md! I would go back at any time when I am hungry and on the parking lot can be annoying, but metro is right there! the price is high, but it is worth knowing that it is vegan. the portions may vary, but I felt that the salat was huge, along with the brot, so I could not finish it even though it was delicious! the other side is sometimes when they go, they may not have the items that are vegan (i.e. the baked were) because they were sold out. but they are all good!
The restaurant offers a few vegan choices, but the selection is limited. The quinoa cakes are tasty, although they may not be very satisfying on their own. I suggest pairing them with a side dish, such as soup. The gazpacho soup is hearty and unexpectedly filling. Unfortunately, there are no vegan dessert options, except for a vegan blueberry muffin from the pastry selection.
Le Pain Quotidien is a popular chain of Belgian cafes that strikes the right balance between casual dining and high-quality baked goods and entrees. Although this particular LPQ is smaller than others, it is a welcome option for vegans in the Maryland area. The menu clearly marks all vegan items, and the daily soup is always vegan. Most of their breads are also vegan, but it's always good to double-check. I appreciate that they offer vegan desserts and are continuously adding new options. The prices may be steep, but the quality justifies it. The staff is friendly and accommodating, despite the challenging clientele in the area. Parking can be difficult, but public transportation is convenient. Although portions can vary, I found the salad and bread to be generously sized and delicious. The only downside is that vegan items may sell out at times. Overall, I highly recommend Le Pain Quotidien for a satisfying vegan dining experience.
