Contribuisci feedbackAwesome cooking school. Our host gave us some great tips for buying vegan Thai food at local markets. Very accommodating for vegan and allergies as well. Only non-vegan dish is adding egg to pad thai, everything else is vegan as standard and the host knows proper vegan.
As far as I know, this is the only cooking school in Chiang Mai that is not attached to a restaurant. I believe this makes a difference as they are able to fully commit themselves to the one purpose. They are set slightly out of town on the road to Saraphee. They have a wonderful and professional set up in their home with very new and sufficient equipment and utensils. The trainer is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient as she takes you through the steps of Thai cooking. It is all vegan except for the option of egg in only one dish, which will be made without egg for any vegan student. You are given the opportunity to really do the actual cooking yourselves with assistance of course so it's easy to remember how to do everything when you are at home. They also provide you with a little booklet which repeats the step by step instructions with some pictures and with some notes pages should you need to make any while you learn. You will get to try everything that you make and there is the option to take home if you can't eat it all (you will make a lot! I thoroughly enjoyed the course I did and would highly recommend it as the best vegan cooking school in Chiang Mai.

My first cooking class and it was such an amazing experience. Very very very recommended. You won't regret it.
