West Town Bakery River North - Chicago

Cute little bakery attached to Acme Hotel. I ? the cake ball variety and flavors. They are so yummy. I'm a huge coconut fan and Coconut Dream donut was wonderful.

Connected to the Acme Hotel. A good choice to avoid the national chains that abound in the area. Coffee is good serving Dark Matter beans. Baked goods are alright. Extremely limited seating.

I have eaten in west town bakery several times in the course of the years. this location is near one of my old houses, so it was hard to miss. in general I have always found the vegan baked ware to be a bit dry. I love the ambiente and the punk rock vibe this place. I wouldn't be eating back against her baked goods, but only not something I would go out of mine.

Look for the entertainingly tagged items in their case for vegan desserts! all white days are vegan. others can have eggs/dairy for vegetarian people.

Look for the white labels, they are the vegan options. I learned this the second time I went. The first time I was given non-vegan items (beige) and told they were vegan. I could have figured this out by reading the other pictures and reviews which I didn't do. :
