Batter And Berries - Chicago

I tried this restaurant for my birthday celebration during COVID times. The French toast flight was visually nice however mediocre in taste across the flavors. The shrimp dish we got for my husband was forgettable.

This place is the go too for breakfast everything is amazing no regrets chicken Alfredo omelet ? Moving on up steak breakfast ? French toast something I truly hate but Batter Berries to die for

Trash salad not worth $11 small and didn’t follow the order correctly. I ordered a steak salad no mushrooms or blue cheese crumbles but came with that anyway on there. I could of done a better job at home, steak had no taste. Overall disappointment doesn’t and last time customer. If I could give zero stars that I would, save your time going here and go else where or just make it at home. Definitely an eye opener peace out ?

I ordered a shrimp wrap which came with about 4 shrimp. Sloppily made. It was not even wrapped and fell apart when I opened the packaging. SUPER DRY. The wrap was to have lime avocado dressing but there was none. I also ordered a steak salad with the dressings being 75 cents each for each small package of dressing. I requested no mushrooms or blue cheese crumbles on this salad. When I called this restaurant I spoke with the owner who stated she made the the order on her own which she should’ve been ashamed to admit to because the wrap was not even wrapped. The owner was going back and forth with me, then eventually offered for me to bring the food back for a full refund. This food was ordered through Grubhub and I was unable to leave to bring the food back so I’m out of $33. 10/10 would not recommend. Stick to Ain’t She Sweet Cafe and Panera Bread honestly!

I am usually not a salad eater, but the house salad that I had was awesome!!! I added the Jerk Chicken and it was indeed the best salad. Everything was fresh and the portions were great11 If I could have a salad from here everyday I would.
